Shocking news this morning, BP has been lying about the flow rate of oil into the gulf! This is completely out of left field, no one could have possibly seen this coming.
The new estimate is that 25,000 to 30,000 barrels per day was flowing into the gulf, based on data gathered before the pipe was cut! I think that we will see definitive proof that the actual flow rate is far higher next week when BP moves additional ships into the region that along with the existing ships will be able to capture 25,000 barrels of oil per day combined. Naturally, any excess oil still flowing into the gulf will show that the leak is flowing above 25,000 barrels per day. Remember when BP said that only 1,000 barrels per day was leaking?
BP, it is time to come clean! Fire your lawyers and your brand-destroying PR morons and show the world that you are not just another heartless, cold, greedy and destructive corporation. Not that you'll listen to me, because in all reality you probably are heartless, cold, greedy and destructive. Prove me wrong.
