The animation at the link below shows a simulation of what 25,000 barrels would look like. The stack of 25,000 barrels reaches 15,000 feet into the air with 20 barrels per layer. Remember, the current leak estimate is that 35,000 to 60,000 barrels per day are flowing into the gulf, so a revised animation would show a stack reaching 36,000 feet into the air, taller than Mount Everest. It is truly awe inspiring - and devastating.
